Umm Travis:
I have been a Muslimah since May 2006, al humdullilah. Allah opened my heart to the truth after watching other sisters practice Islam. I found that in their behavior and lifestyle was something I had been seeking all my life. I found the Salat (Muslim Prayer) and fasting to be beautiful ways of disciplining myself and my life around my Creator and His will for me. In Islam, I found my true purpose… a calling to worship Allah through my deeds, even if it be just a smile.
I have attempted to organize my journey in a way which is beneficial to others. Please Ignite the Light Within Blog for more Islamic information.

I was reading that you have Rheumatoid Arthritis, just wondering if you have an email?
